Aviation pioneer, Gil Boyd, tells his story as an aviator and the history behind aviation as we know it today. Boyd, the nephew of Butch Cassidy, flew in films as a stunt pilot for Judy Garland and others as well as crossed paths with people like Albert Einstein and Charles Lindberg. Gil started his career as a fuel boy back in the mid 1930's working for an airshow that even traveled to Berlin and performed before Adolf Hitler. As a stunt pilot, pilot chauffeur, navy pilot and many other rolls, Gil's journey through the world of flight gives a new insight to the driving forces that shaped our modern day aviation industry.
