Catalogue of exhibition of painter Mira Schendel (b. Switzerland 1919 - d. Brazil 1988), presenting 27 of her best works produced between 1950 and 1980, and now in private and public collections. Throughout her career Mira Schendel worked with different materials and subjects, and while her best known works were created in paper: prints and graphic objects, her painting was always a permanent discipline in her artistic trajectory. The exhibited collection exemplifies the diverse phases of pictorial production of the figurative artist.
