Author Description

This is the 3rd in the Inquisitive Pioneer series and has the same overall idea with a range of great science activities involving waves and astronomy. Like all in the series the activities are about data measurement and data analysis in using the scientific method in their approach. The slide rule is the suggested and illustrated tool to evaluate your data. Like all books in the series, there is an overall emphasis on low-cost and basic items for doing the activities. However in this book there may be a need to acquire some fun items such as a prism, lenses, and/or a small telescope in one or more of the activities.
