Hot doesn’t describe the heat that hits you when you step out of the New Delhi airport. It’s the kind of heat that slaps you in the face and starves your lungs of oxygen, and whilst your body is desperately trying to adjust to the new climate - your senses are overloaded with the different sights, sounds and smells. That feeling, (if you have never experienced it before) is an overwhelming one! Stepping out of the airport doors into the late-night 30-degree heat, Donna and I had arrived in crazy, mad beautiful India to experience what we could only describe as “one of the best times of our lives.”
