GO AHEAD – I DARE YOU! These words changed the course of Fritz Sprandel’s life forever. This is a real-life story of an Adventurer who was dared to complete different journeys that most people could only dream about. Fritz had a rocky childhood and was always striving to prove his worth. This created an unstoppable determination in everything Fritz did in his life – starting with a canoe trip that landed him in a Cuban prison (and international fame), and later paddling and snowmobiling from coast to coast, all because someone said, “I dare you.” Fritz’s big adventures all took place in the “anything goes” culture of the late 60s and 70s over a span of 10 years. On Fritz's first big dare, he wound up captured and put in prison in Cuba with many of the most wanted men in America. After more than a month of negotiations, Fritz was secretly airlifted back into the United States, where he was watched and monitored by the FBI and probably the CIA for over two decades. On all of his Adventures, it was the relationships that were established along the way that meant the most to Fritz. This is a story not just about discovering where Fritz traveled to, but also learnig who Fritz Spran
