We present this booklet with two goals in 1. To inform local activists who might otherwise be isolated or silenced by this conservative backlash. 2. To help those outside the university balance the media-generated images of "tenured radicals," "lower standards," and "political correctness"- images which serve to justify massive cutbacks in higher education.
