Author Description

This book is my personal spiritual journey. Hopefully it will be beneficial to others with a curiosity about God. There is absolutely no intent, whatsoever, to proselytize, or persuade others or cast doubt on their theology. I am not a theologian, not a Bible scholar or a teacher, just a curious old guy who has experienced many forms of religious worship and encountered many interesting people along the way. Critics will say, you cannot cherry pick parts of the Bible you accept nor ignore other parts that you may not find acceptable. In other words, you cannot just pick and choose to create your own religion. Who says I can’t, hundreds or thousands of other people have done exactly that. All religions are man made and surely, if we are so inclined, there is one out their that suits each of us. There are predictable thresholds in our lives, such as graduation from high school or college, marriage, children, children leaving home for college, new job or maybe marriage. These are events that mark significant change in our lives. There are also unpredictable thresholds, maybe insignificant moments, that also bring forth a huge change in our life. I have had three such important events in my life.
