Abraham is the father of faith. He was highly outstanding in life because of his faith walk with God. “Look Abraham your father, and Sarah who bore you; for I called him alone and blessed him and increased him.” Isaiah 51:2. We were commanded in the scripture to look unto Abraham our father in faith, because there is a lot to learn from this great man. The word look in the passage above, meant to say we must follow his footsteps if we want to get to where he got to. Abraham heard the word, he acted on it, he received generational blessing by combining hearing and doing. Abraham being a man of faith, spoke out what he believed in his heart. He said the Lord will provide for himself the lamb for sacrifice. The spirit of faith is a speaking spirit. If you cannot say it, you cannot have it. Abraham kept going. He did not wait until God provided for him. The Lord actually provided for Abraham on top of the mountain. God will meet you at the point of your need, if your action, and your confession plus your believe go hand in hand. The reason you cannot say you are rich is simply because you don't believe the word. You can confess your healing while the pain is still there in your body. Learn to place the word of God above your feelings. We need to fight the good fight of faith; we need to hold on to eternal life because it can be lost. We need to collect everything the enemy has collected from us. By the fight of faith, you don't have to fold your arm. Abraham got back Lot his brother, Lot’s wife, children and properties; what a victory all because he chose to fight with the right intention. Follow the same step and your life will never be the same again.
