Are timeless reflections from the 1940s and 1950s still relevant in today's world? In 2017, I received a folder from my Aunt Dee that contained 89 reflections written by my grandfather, Reverend Lynn H. Corson. Written while he served as minister at the Princeton Methodist Church and later at the Haddonfield Methodist Church in New Jersey, these reflections address the challenges of their time, including war, political division, moral responsibility, and the meaning of faith. As I read through them years later, I was struck by how many could have been written today. These short reflections explore: Living a life of purpose Faith during uncertain times The role of moral responsibility in society Personal commitment to belief Lessons from history that still guide us today Whether you are seeking inspiration, encouragement, or thoughtful perspective, these reflections offer insight that transcends generations. The following words are from Lynn H. Corson's daughter, Jane Corson Henry, who shares what this collection means to her: Lynn Hough Corson, my father, was handsome, fun loving, charismatic, father of five children, grandfather of fifteen, a loving husband, pastor of several churches, teacher, counselor, and a man of God. As a young child, sitting through his sermons, I would listen carefully for his third point, knowing that it meant the end of the service was near. This is why it is truly a blessing to have this book of his reflections. I now realize how inspirational, thoughtful, and well written they are. Many speak directly to the concerns of our day. They are a great comfort to me. Because of his guidance and his sharing of God's love with his children, all have remained true believers and active in our faith. Our father would awaken us in the morning with the words, "This is the day the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it." Thank you, Daddy. Jane Corson Henry</
