Author Description

This is a story of how a parent and young child cope while the other parent is away on military duty, protecting them and their country. The author has drawn on the personal experience of having her nephew, a U.S. Marine, go overseas for 6 months leaving his wife and two little girls behind. It is told through the eyes of a young child in very basic terms.
