She started writing this book when she was pregnant and suffering nursing aversion. She couldn't find anything to help her cut back on daytime feeding in a way that felt gentle and respectful. She set out to write a children's storybook that would promote the amazing bond built by breastfeeding while also reducing daytime feeding.
