Author Description

During his one-year assignment in Iraq from May 2009 to April 2010, Lt Col Paul "Jäger" Schulze sent 241 letters to his two-year-old son, Hunter, to help him learn new words and to teach him other lessons during his absence. Each letter has a word-of-the-day and each word is illustrated by a drawing, most in color. The book contains full-page scans of these letters along with an introduction by his son as "dictated" to Rodney Baker, his grandfather.
