Psychologically Sociable is a book about two girls that are best friends, because their parents are best friends. The one child has no manners and is very negative, she doesn’t have social skills. However, every time her best friend comes around with her group well-mannered friends, she pretends to be perfect, showing the function of awareness. Now being viewed in a positive light of her best friend’s friends, she is determined to change for her friend. Comparing herself to the group, she is able to learn about herself and really see herself. Not only is she influenced sociably by the girls, she psychologically influences herself. Every Book in the Collection is designed to effectuate change in the lives of children and influence success. In addition, the collection of books is tools to help children engage socially in a diverse world with confidence and ultimately prepare them for life. I believe the books in the Collection are also tools to psychologically rouse children to become positive, culturally sensitive, confident, unbiased and trustworthy and to have a sense of social consciousness to be socially aware. There is a section in the back of the book that allows children to participate and answer questions.
