Author Description

Upon completion of this program, your school will have established a crisis team that is prepared to handle death and other crises with honesty and compassion. You will plan to help your school remain the physically and emotionally safe environment both student and staff need at a time of crisis. You and your fellow team members will have a better understanding of the grief cycle and the importance of grieving. Finally, should a crisis arise within your school family, your crisis team will have the knowledge and plans needed to help your students, staff, and community to not just survive but to learn and grow stronger from the experience.
