I truly believe that when a person is raped, their soul is murdered. I know how it feels to be so emotionally weighed down, that you are physically unable to move. I know these feelings because, like you, I am a survivor. Recovering from rape and any form of violence, regardless of the type (sexual, physical, emotional, or mental), is both confusing and terrifying. Recovery is personal and needs to be individualized and not generalized. Soul Recovery is not a cookie-cutter approach to reclaiming your life, because violence is not cookie-cutter, and neither are you. You are special and you deserve to transition from surviving life to living your life...on your terms.Soul Recovery is unconventional because there is nothing conventional about rape and violence.
