Preparing for Pentecost: The Upper Room Experience seeks to create a period of preparation, sanctification and expectation as the church waits for the manifestation of the Holy Spirit and His gifts among us. Just as those early disciples waited in the Upper Room and devoted themselves to prayer, reconciliation and unity, we too gather nightly in prayer, exhortation and discussion as we prepare for Pentecost. The observation culminates with Pentecost Week, which marks 50 days after the resurrection of Jesus Christ and is the official birthday of the Christian church. This book contains guidelines, declarations, devotionals and prayer points as we prepare for the move of the Holy Spirit among us.
