Children of Military families face stress and difficulty at higher rates than do their civilian counterparts. This stress has been found to increase resiliency in the lives of children as they encounter adolescence and adulthood. What adds to the life of the military child is the rich growth they experience as they enhance their world view through interaction with children of other cultures. Look through the eyes of children of various cultures as they share how they feel about their mothers leaving them to support a major facet of military life-deployment.
