A megalithic monument at the edge of the Somerset Levels becomes the focus of conflict between religious, commercial, environmental and archaeological interests.The local Earthwork Committee seeks to preserve The Meeting. Many visitors to the site campaign for the freedom to worship it. And yet others, lured by rumour of an Arthurian relic buried on Meeting Hill, may wish only to plunder it.
