Transferred to New York in the early 1970s, Lt. Mike Myles is reunited with two friends from his past and meets two new friends. As a young man who has recently embraced his homosexuality and now discovers New York's gay scene, he is led through humorous adventures from the West Village to Fire Island by this cohort of adventurous friends. New York at the awakening of gay liberation provides the landscape for the escapades of five characters whose lives become entangled in romances, adventures, humor, and heartbreaks.
