Shusuke loved cows since he was a child. He could communicate with cows' heart to heart. When he grew up, he married Oyoshi, who diligently supported Shusuke and his passion for helping Ojiro village prosper with a cattle farm after realizing how villagers suffered from poverty. It became his lifelong goal to make his home village the greatest cow producer in Japan. Based on the true story of Shusuke Maeda, the ambitious man who established the Wagyu beef strain and made it known to the world as a famous brand of beef.
