Author Description

This book represents the journey of my life in poetry. From coping with the pain of divorce to the grief at the death of my husbands, to the joy of joy giving birth to my daughter; I have lived it all through my writing. I have written about my fear of dying during the COVID pandemic, and my fear of being afraid to emerge when it ends. I have written about my visceral reaction to the events unfolding in living history to the joys of celebrating holidays. There is poetry in everyday events and poetry in the miracle of friendship. Poetry has helped me survive, recognize, and enjoy all that is part of life. These poems are mostly in alphabetical order with a few selected, significant poems in the beginning of this compilation. I truly hope that by reading them you will see all the beauty of life from remembering the scent of lilacs to finding meaning in the gift of life. I share it all with you through my poetry.
