Health care coverage in Modern America is one of its major social issues. Child abuse is an equally serious issue in our family structure. Dr. Austin addresses both in this medical fiction saga that will stimulate much public discussion of these issues. George Bundtas dreams of a professional football career are shattered by a high school injury. The psychological trauma colors the rest of his tragic life. His marriage is marred by numerous abuses of his two children and alcoholism. His gentle, masochistic wife leads him to a satisfactory job for a church. Sadly, his wife develops breast cancer and the system fails her. Death is imminent and George has his revenge in a manner that we have seen too often in America.
