Mama Said is a mini novel in verse, told through the voice of Kelly Pratchett. Kelly experiences the ups and downs of life, the ups and downs of health and illness. In the end, Kelly realizes one of the most important truths of life is to always listen to your mother, always listen to what Mama said.
