Author Description

The purpose of the Council is to give an accurate interpretation of the different Native American cultures. However, in our modern world, we consider it is important that whatever culture we deal with, or learn about, we should have an accurate picture of their ideals, values, and way of life. We therefore also distribute other books if we consider them good literature, interesting to all groups, and accurate in their interpretation of those cultures. We consider these worthy of inclusion in all school and public libraries. Written for New Zealand teachers, this book is also of interest to those planning to vist New Zealand, or anyone interested in Maori culture.
