This reference examines the history of the development of the legal system of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), from the negotiation of the GATT Agreement in 1946-1948 to the beginning of the Tokyo Round in 1975. A complete history of the 75 GATT lawsuits that occurred up to 1975 is presented.
