The Nixon White House knew it would be disasterous if the information were to be disclosed to the public on the eve of the President's final campaign. The Special Investigations Unit would have been the only people in the world with the means, motive and opportunity to intercede in the investigation, and the shroud of National Security trumps all jurisdictional authority. It effectively blocked any investigation of the crew whatsoever, thus rendering the case unsolvable from the very beginning.......... Despite every indication of an inside job, lead investigator Ralph Himmelsbach, openly admits that the crew was dismissed as potential suspects early in the case with no investigation of them at all. He had concluded that, "They didn't know one another very well," and that, "They had unpredictable schedules." These were the official reasons he offered in, "Norjak," his post retirement book on the case. Neither of these claims is factually correct. And yet they have never been challenged....... Taking all that is known to be fact in this case it is not terribly difficult to deduce a solution that, while unexpected, quite thoroughly accounts for all of the anomolous observations that have been overlooked or otherwise ignored. The timing of these events, from the Pentagon Papers to Watergate, dovetail so perfectly in the storyline that its hard to imagine a more plausible outcome than the solution presented here. You be the judge.......
