Cousins Ilse, Edith, and Miriam are all young and enjoying their comfortable lives in Vienna, Austria in the 1930s. The three have avid social lives and happy families with no worry for the safety of their futures. That is until Adolf Hitler marches in and annexes Austria turning their lives upside down. Each girl is forced to encounter new emotions and possibilities in a story of family, love, perspective, and strength as they each take their own journeys from Vienna.
