How They Became a Leader This book is seriously restoring the mid-to-late 1990s student movement, which was the end of the militant student movement through micro-analysis and author-specific insights. The author, who was involved in the student movement during this period, was based on his experiences, observations, and messages. In the meantime, conservative and progressive approaches to progressive movement and chaebolism have only approached the demonization or gigantic discourse. The author criticizes that such an approach is problematic in showing the actual progressive camp. It is because there is no human figure in the conservative or progressive approach. The point at which this book emerges is that it restored the appearance and inner appearance of student activists in the 1990s through various approaches, not as a machine or an appendage, but as a living and anxious person. This book does not portray student activists who are becoming hard-working as a demon or a hero. I have persuasively pointed out the problems of the student movement by realistically reconstructing the normal sportsmen who pursued justice but were still in error. At the same time, the sentences of reflection reflect the author s distinctive sensitivity to organization, power, and overall organizational culture of the progressive camps, leading to a universal consensus moving beyond the conservative and progressive minds of many.
