Author Description

When a tiny ball of gray fur gets picked up by a boy, he takes pity on the kitten, his mother lets him keep her. But after a short time, they discover that Muffin is deaf and every time she goes out into their yard, she's teased by other animals. Everyone is sad until Muffin makes unlikely friends with one of her floppy-eared "neighbors."
