Given their prevalence and morbidity, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are a public health problem. STIs are diverse in their etiology and polymorphous in their symptomatological manifestations. Indeed, alongside classic STIs such as gonorrhoea, chlamydia, trichomoniasis, syphilis, genital herpes and genital warts, other STIs (lymphogranulomatosis venereum, Ebola virus disease, chikungunya, monkeypox) have re-emerged or emerged in recent years.The effective and efficient management of STIs must be holistic, based on a normative framework involving all healthcare professionals
