This is the first & only text which describes the testing modality & clinical applications of surface-EMG (S-EMG) analysis of neuro- muscular function. The muscles innervated by individual nerves, as well as roots & plexuses, are tested with S-EMG. This electrophysiological modality is non-invasive & allows for diagnosis of neuro-muscular dysfunction as well as for its treatment via S-EMG biofeedback. An ATLAS OF NEURO-MUSCULAR TESTING WITH S-EMG is presented as a companion volume. The text & atlas may be particularly useful in physical medicine, neurology & neurosurgery as well as in the context of neuro-rehabilitation.
