The Moto Guzzi 500cc V8 from the mid-1950s is one of the top candidates for the title of the ultimate racing motorcycle. It is still unique in being the only Grand Prix contender ever made with the V8 engine configuration. Also featured is Moto Guzzi's 500cc V-twin that amazingly remained a Grand Prix winner for two full decades. It won its first race in 1933 and its last Grand Prix in 1952.
