Above all, Christianity will have its impregnable defence, its irrefutable argument, in the consecrated lives, the exalted Chris tian virtue, the beauty of holiness manifested by those whose extended culture gives them commanding inuence, and makes them the creators of opinion, belief, and character in an ever widening circle.
