This book is on the Kenya's New Season and the Birth of new leadership. It highlights issues that might have contributed to the path it took after its independence in December of 1963. Some of the issues that need to be rectified by the new leadership are mention. It offers some guidance into praying for the nation.This book has been well researched, the author takes us through the experiences of the country under three presidents: Late President Jomo Kenyatta, President Daniel Arap Moi and the retiring President Emillio Mwai Kibaki. Kenya and Kenyans have faced two great problems: Tribalism and Graft or Corruption. The need for a change has been over due. After the elections Kenya will enter fully into a devolved government system. This may help to ease tribalism and marginalization but this too is a challenge. Hence my great plead for much prayer towards the elections in helping Kenyan,s choose their leaders with great care and by Divine guidance. This book cannot be limited to Kenya,s situation but would also come in hand as a pointer for other nations entering new seasons and how to handle them.
