Uplifting Cancer Survivors in the COVID Era: Expressions of Kindness and Inspiration Between Aunties and Nieces is an intergenerational art project which unites Breast Cancer Survivors (“Aunties”) and compassionate Teen Women Advocates (“Nieces”) in an exchange of handmade keepsakes and written sentiments to empower, uplift and inspire each other. This book shines a spotlight on the collaboration of over 70 individuals who have managed to transform the social distancing aspects of the COVID crisis into an opportunity to connect with each other and bridge the communication gap..
