Author Description

I was motivated to write this book to send a message of inspiration especially to the youth, drawing on my 60 years+ of experience in life, and 40+ years’ worth of professional experience. Despite my humble beginning, I rose in a prestigious institution such as the American Embassy through sheer hard work, determination, and integrity. I thank God, my wife, and my family for being a vital part of my life and the success that I have attained. I would like to especially thank my former employer (the American Embassy) for giving me the opportunity to work for their institution, even as a greenhorn at the time with no prior experience. They added so much value to my professional life, even training me in various career aspects through on-the-job training and off shore trainings, which shaped me considerably to have skills that are recognisable on a global scale. I would also like to acknowledge my friends, relatives, and dear tennis buddies who enriched my life incredibly and taught me so many important lessons in life that I have attempted to pass on to you – dear reader. If there is nothing else you have taken from my story, please take this—always believe in yourself and never stop dreaming irrespective of your background. If I, Charles Ndibui, a simple boy from a simple village, managed to make something of myself, you can too. All by the grace of God.
