Everything in life has to evolve, and in the case of the 100 mph Lambretta Club, its beginnings go back four decades. It may have started with basic knowledge of the Innocenti-produced machines, but it developed through learning many different skills over time. Not just working on the engine but the machine in its entirety, and as each one was pushed past the boundaries it was intended for it helped gain vital experience along the way. Getting up to the speeds claimed wouldn’t happen overnight, and it would be fifteen years after it first started for that to happen. Once it had, the brand was firmly established and could legitimately claim the right to be called the 100 mph Lambretta Club.
