The V-shaped engine with 65 angle origins dates back to the early days at Ferrari, and can be divided in two main parts. First came the period of the classic V6 engine also known as the Dino designed and built in 1956. Then second period began in 1989 and continues today, and refers to the modern V12 engine with the new aspirated F1 unit.
