Author Description

Renowned the world over for his speed, originality, and dedication to motorsports, three-time CART champion and Indianapolis 500-winner Bobby Rahal stands apart from other racers. His stellar career spans continents, and his success extends beyond the race track and brings together racing's most influential people. Some of the little-known stories include how Bobby raced against future F1 legends Gilles Villeneuve and Keke Rosberg in Formula Atlantic, worked with top F1 car designer Adrian Newey at the start of his career, helped develop Ferrari's secret IndyCar program, and brought Honda engines into CART racing. This book reveals the spirit, courage, and determination behind Bobby's winning battle for success -- from his very first regional competitions to becoming a CART team owner with David Letterman as his partner, and now as the leader of Jaguar's Formula One team.
