Author Description

Doctor Andrew Clenche left his home in Brownlow Street, London, by coach one evening in 1692, accompanied by two men who urged him to visit a sick patient. The Doctor never returned home. Henry Harrison was hanged for the murder of Doctor Clenche, after his trial at The Old Bailey. Was Harrison innocent or guilty of the murder? The Old Bailey trial appears at the back of the book so that the reader may draw his own conclusions.
