Journey with me through the seasons, along the Royal Oak Swamp in North Carolina. The beauty of its wild nature and the ever-changing skies, tides, and weather.... There is so much to see and enjoy in Brunswick County. Take a ferry ride to explore Fort Fisher Island and Bald Head Island. Stop by Oak Island, and plan to spend the day. Lounge on a variety of beaches and enjoy the sunset vistas. Visit the historical town of Southport, by the scenic shores of the mighty Cape Fear River. I found this magical place later on in my life; and Pennsylvania still holds my heart. But, the swamp whispers out to me.... come back.... come back.... It's an area that can be so enchanting, until a major hurricane comes to call. So, find a chair, grab a glass of sweet tea, enjoy the southern hospitality, and fall in love over, and over again.... Sun in my face, and toes in the sand.... SEASONS on the SWAMP....
