Schools Closed! Work Sites Closed! Theaters Closed! Restaurants Closed! Churches Closed! Quarantines! Social Distancing! A virus was spreading around the world not only causing havoc to our daily routines but also resulting in sickness and death. People isolated from their family and friends! As the world literally came to a screeching halt, my husband and I grabbed our cameras and started taking photos. This book of photos is our attempt to share with you that even amid dying and despair, beauty and life can be found. Some photos were taken in our backyard or more times than not, we got into our 2008 Toyota Tacoma and started driving. Each day we became more fascinated at what we were discovering. Sometimes it was on roads that had been traveled hundreds of times, next to lakes previously fished, or trees looked at every day in our own backyard. Most days ended back home late in the afternoon having driven through several Kentucky counties looking for birds or other nature sightings. We discovered, when we took time to explore with "new eyes", nature presented creations for us to enjoy! We hope this book inspires you to explore your neighborhood for nature sightings and take pictures to share with the world!
