Many of my first poems came from a felt sense of love, sometimes Rumiesque, sometimes not; sometimes love fulfilled, and sometimes not. I've also explored my own inner chambers, walls, floors and ceilings, as well as what touches me in how I see my outer world. And as such, all this poetry is an exploration of me; what I touch, how I'm touched, and in very many ways, my own longings to be free.Photography has been with me for what seems like forever. I've been capturing images by squinting through a small piece of glass for decades, to the point where much of what I observe now in the bigger world outside of me is seen through the lens of composition, color, light and form. It seems I'm always composing images, whether I have a camera in hand or not.
