Welcome to One Story A Day for Science, a series of twelve books designed to develop scientific reflection, reading and comprehension, and a curiosity about the world in children ages 8 to 12. This series engages with topics such as physics, astronomy, biology, human anatomy, chemistry, environmental studies, and earth sciences by asking questions like What is gravity? Why isn’t Pluto a planet? How do animals change colours? and answering them with cleverly illustrated short stories. The 2025 edition includes updated stories and does NOT have activities.
