Pete and I took the Zip-Roc to the zoo to see our good friend Lenny Lynx, but when we got there his place was empty. When we asked Zoo Master where Lenny was he said Lenny went missing overnight when he was supposed to pick up his room, and he hasn't been seen since. So Pete and I checked all the usual hang-outs, but didn't find hide nor hair of Lenny. Eventually some harmonica music gave us a clue, and we asked Lenny why he ran away from the zoo. A lesson in constructive complaining helps Lenny find a path back to where he really wanted to be. A small quantity of BLTs were consumed for nutritional purposes in the making of this entertaining and enlightened tale. This volume continues the adventures of Pete and Jon, and introduces Lenny Lynx. As with the other books in the series, the use of a hybrid 'sketch on photo' format creates bright pages that tell the tale in depth and entertain the eyes as neither format alone can. The storyline is structured to create opportunities for side discussions of motives and impacts, outcomes and alternative actions, as may be appropriate.
