How Did You Choose The Colors, Lord? a poem which is a teaching for change. The book offers an anti-bias education on the issue of true racism. The poem is parsed throughout the pages of 48 colorful illustrations depicting two young boys, one black one white, who are exploring their world filled with colors. As they travel through this world of color they come together and ask God how the color of their skin was chosen. The young boys see their skin color only as an element of nature to be celebrated not something to protest or discriminate against.
