Author Description

In chapter 1 of the book the author has discussed some principles of management. Many managers, particularly senior executives, are certainly concerned with these areas exclusively. In chapters 2 to 5, he discusses topics from areas of management called functional areas, viz., marketing, financial, personnel and materials. It is at the functional level that management expertise has to be married to technical expertise, and functional technical knowledge is as important as managerial skills. This book amply proves that golden rule.
