"What About Me?" was written not only as challenge to make ministry to children a priority but to give basic information of how to meet that challenge. As stated in the book, "Skimping on expenditures for children's ministry is the norm. Most church leaders would not think of depriving the adults, and often the teens, of the very best accommodations and equipment the church can possibly afford. The children are usually not thought of first when planning, but last. If new equipment is purchased, then the new equipment is for the use of the adults, and the children "inherit" the old. Children, if they could voice an opinion, could very well say, "WHAT ABOUT ME?" If we can't have the newest equipment, let us strive for the best trained workers and the best possible programs making the teaching of the wonderful truths of the Word of God paramount.This book is for ministry to all children but a section is included that is dedicated to Special Needs Children. If any group could say, "What About Me?" it is this oft-neglected and overlooked segment of our population.
