They are family.In March 2019, we lost our dog Togo. The protector of the family.The day he died I sat down to try and process everything and ended up writing this whole story out. This book is basically my vision of what happens next. As I struggled to process the loss I was faced with the challenge of explaining this loss to my 5 year old god daughter, Antonella (Nella). When I was thinking of ways to explain what happened to Togo I found it really difficult at first. How do you explain to a 5 year old that their favorite dog is gone. I explained it to her just as I did in this book and her reaction was everything, she felt instantly comforted.I hope this book inspires both kids and adults to have hope for what's next.May this story serve as a reminder that while your loved one may no longer be with you physically, they will always live in your heart.Remember... if someone has touched your heart, they will forever be there. No matter if we can see them or not.
