Review Celebrating Ourselves is a powerful crone ritual has evolved over ten years of honoring women's passage into old age. Developed in the Feminist Spiritual Community of Portland, Maine, it is a moving celebration of that passage. Special features of the ritual include its honoring of the decades of our lives, its movements from sober preparation to joyful celebration and its use of distinctive symbols. In addition to the ritual itself, Celebrating Ourselves includes further resources for exploring aging, ageism, and the lives of old women.
